Some salons have a signature look. Sahair Salon has a signature standard.
If you look closely inside each Sahair location, you’ll find a piece of bamboo woven into the décor. It may seem like a small detail, but for us, it tells a much bigger story.
The bamboo is a reminder of where Sahair began.
In 2008, Barbi and her husband purchased a struggling salon with a vision of creating something entirely different. At the time, the space was covered in an ridiculously over-the-top tiki theme that felt more like a 1970s beach party than the salon they dreamed of building.
The décor needed to change—but pieces of the bamboo stayed.
Over time, it became a symbol of how far Sahair has come and, and more importantly, what we wanted the company to stand for.
Bamboo grows by building a strong foundation beneath the surface before its growth can truly be seen. That idea became deeply connected to the way we believe people grow, too.
At Sahair, we don’t just build beautiful salons or create beautiful hair. We grow people.
We invest in education, mentorship, coaching, and opportunity so our stylists can continue developing their craft, building confidence, and creating careers they are proud of. That growth allows them to give our guests something even more meaningful: a salon experience built around expertise, consistency, and genuine care.
So the bamboo you see throughout Sahair isn’t simply part of our décor.
It’s a reminder of where we started, what we’ve built together, and our belief that when you care for people and give them room to grow, beautiful things follow.

Then we create a plan.
That may mean customized hair color, balayage or highlights, a precision haircut, professional hair extensions, a repair or smoothing treatment, or simply honest guidance about what your hair needs next.
We believe you should understand the plan, timing, maintenance, and investment before the work begins.

Our artists share knowledge, support one another, and continue their education in cutting, color, extensions, consultation, product knowledge, and the guest experience.
Newer artists work alongside experienced professionals through our Associate Artist Program, receiving hands-on education, mentorship, and real-world experience while learning the Sahair standard.
That commitment to education means our work continues to improve — and every generation of Sahair artists helps develop the one coming behind it.

Your salon result shouldn’t end as soon as you walk out the doors of Sahair.
We use and recommend professional hair care based on what your hair actually needs and the services you receive. Rather than sending you home with a shelf full of products, our stylists will help you identify the few products that can make the biggest difference in protecting your color, maintaining your haircut, caring for your extensions, or supporting the health of your hair between appointments.
We proudly work with professional brands including Redken, Kérastase, K18 and will explain what we recommend, how to use it, and why it matters for your hair.
